We want to improve student wellbeing and you can help.

This year our VP Community Howisha has pledged to focus on issues affecting LJMU students' mental health and wellbeing. Not only will Howisha be running campaigns throughout the year to find out about key issues for students, we are also taking part in a UK wide research project alongside 13 other Student Unions with research consultancy Alterline. In order to make sure we improve services for LJMU students we need to hear directly from you, we're therefore asking students to take a moment to complete a short survey. As a thank you for taking part, you will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win £500 in cash, or one of fifty £10 Amazon vouchers.

Take part in the survey now here: https://www.snapsurveys.com/wh/s.asp?k=150781543886

We hoping that this will be the biggest study of its kind in the UK. Your answers will not be associated with your name or identity when reported; you will not be judged by the answers you give. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact susanna.jenkins@alterline.co.uk. Your answers will not be reviewed in real time, so if you disclose anything about your life for which you may need help or support we will not be able to respond.

If you need help, please contact one of the following:

LJMU Student Advice and Wellbeing: https://www.ljmu.ac.uk/discover/student-support
Mind Infoline: Call: 0300 123 3393 or Text: 86463
Samaritans: Call: 116 123 or Email: jo@samaritans.org

The survey is open to all students regardless of whether or not you have experienced mental health issues.
