Voter Registration Week is here!
As part of our work ensuring that LJMU students are ready to vote in the 2015 General Election this year we'll be across campus this week speaking with students and encouraging them to register to vote. All LJMU students were instructed to register as part of the new academic year enrolment process, but we believe that there are some students who still need to register.
We'll be rebranding our Mini LiverpoolSUs across campus to become 'Registration Stations' and encouraging as many students to register to vote and make your voice heard.
LiverpoolSU will be around campus advising students why they should vote and helping them with registering. At the times below we'll also have Domino's Pizza on site to help us out. In order to receive some free pizza all you need to do is register to vote with one of our amazing Mini LiverpoolSU staff.
Domino's Pizza will be at the following sites at the below times:
- Monday 2 February, 11.00am - 2.00pm - Meeting Space at IM Marsh
- Tuesday 3 February, 10.00am - 2.00pm - Mini LiverpoolSU Space in the Redmonds Building,
- Wednesday 4 February, 10.00am - 2.00pm - Mini LiverpoolSU Space at Tithebarn Street.
- Thursday 5 February, 9.00am - 3.00 pm - Mini LiverpoolSU Space at Byrom Street.
- Friday 6 February, 10.00am - 3.00pm - Mini LiverpoolSU Space and LiverpoolSU Student Social Zone in the John Foster Building
LiverpoolSU's student staff will also be in reception areas in a range of halls as follows:
- Tuesday 3 February - Larch House and Arrad House, Lennon Studios and Cedar House, Cambridge Court (5.00 - 8.00pm)
