Varsity Postponed
Varsity 2020 Statement from Sport Liverpool & John Moores Students’ Union (JMSU)
The number one priority for JMSU and Sports Liverpool is always the health and wellbeing of our students and staff.
After careful consultation regarding the health and safety of everyone at Varsity 2020 we have made the difficult decision to postpone Varsity on Sunday 15th March.
With the current concerns and uncertainty about COVID-19 virus, we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented situation. We are disappointed that we are having to postpone Varsity but we know it’s the right decision for our members.
As the event has been postponed, we will be in contact with members and sports clubs with more information about next steps on moving forward.
