Student Officer Elections 2018 - Statement from LiverpoolSU
This week we have been holding our annual Student Officer Elections, asking you to vote for the candidates you want to see lead your Students’ Union next year. The voting for this year’s election is now closed.
Unfortunately during this week’s election we have received some complaints about the process.
As a result of an ongoing investigation into this, we will not be announcing the winners of the 2018 Student Officer Elections this evening. We expect to be able to update you on when this will happen by the middle of next week.
We’d like to thank all students that took the time to vote in this year’s election. We appreciate that this delay in announcing the winning candidates will be frustrating for you. However, it is really important to us that you have total confidence that all candidates and voters have been treated fairly throughout the election process.
