May's Society of the Month goes to...

Mental Health Nursing! 🥳 

This month the society has been really busy putting on some fantastic events whilst also being out in placement.

• They've organised and hosted a series of six webinars for world maternal mental health day which have been shared with the school of nursing and school of midwifery 🧑‍⚕️
• The society has also hosted three events for mental health awareness week on LGBT, children and young people, nature, and well-being 🙌
• Started a fundraising challenge - covering 5,691 miles for charity 🏃
• Currently working alongside the academic department to promote parity of esteem and prepping presentations for the RCN international conference and teaching and learning conference 🤝
