This year LiverpoolSU sent three delegates to NUS LGBT+ Conference. The conference is a forum for LGBT students from across the country to get together and discuss the issues affecting LGBT students and the student community at large.

Read Christopher Johnson’s account of the conference and the issues he found most thought-provoking.

So many fantastic things happen at conference, but NUS have summed it up nicely with 5 things they learned at conference. They’re taking about the Trans officer motion going to National Conference, addressing the lack of black LGBT+ people in the movement and why this is crucial and why LGBT+ asylum seekers need our support.
