It’s time to Mind Your Head!
The rumours are true: Your SU have brought you Puppy Rooms at LJMU!
This week, LiverpoolSU will be putting on a number of activities at each of the MiniSU sites to help you relax, take a break from revision and receive some helpful tips to help you succeed.
From Monday 11th until Friday 15th you can pop down to your nearest MiniSU and learn more about how to look after your mental wellbeing during this stressful time.
LiverpooolSU and RAG Society are teaming up with national charity Guide Dogs UK to bring Guide dogs in training to LJMU. As part of the training, Guide dogs must get used to being around lots of people, which is where you come in. To help reduce stress levels and improve your concentration, you can pet/stroke and play with some puppies in training and learn more about this amazing charity.
There will be three Puppy Rooms across campus during the 11-15th April, so students can come along on these days to 'paws' for a break and pet some puppies:
Monday 11th April: 10am -1pm, Redmonds Building, Room 233
Tuesday 12th April: 11.30am -1.30pm, Avril Robarts Library, Seminar Room 1
Friday 15th April: 10am -12pm, IM Marsh, Room B004
To book your FREE ticket for the event, follow this link: bit.do/ puppyroom4. Students will be allowed to book one 10 minute slot with the dogs, and can book in groups. We will also be allowing students to drop-in during the last 30mins of each session.
Make sure you pop down for some quirky revision tips, squeezy stress toys, healthy snacks and information about how can you improve your mental wellbeing.
