Transport has always been an integral part of the city of Liverpool and was a hot topic for discussion at our Better City Forum in March. Students discussed their thoughts about the proposed bicycle hire scheme for Liverpool and if they would use the scheme and why. Many said they would be intrigued to find out more and how it could be done.
The scheme is being trialled in Liverpool currently and we are now giving you the opportunity to contact the organisers directly to have your say! There are various stations around the city, one of which is located at the top of Mount Pleasant, near to the Students’ Union. Our VP Community Engagement, Dan Cole and President, Curtis Reid visited the station to trial the bikes and meet the organisers of the scheme.
We want to know your views and whether you have heard about, seen or trialled any of the bikes from the scheme yet. We also want to know where you would want to see the bike stations, and where would be the best locations across the city.
