Interim CEO of Liverpool Students’ Union announced
Liverpool SU have appointed Phil Benton to be Interim CEO on a part time basis.
Phil has taken up this post with immediate effect and will be acting as CEO whilst the organisation makes arrangements for a permanent appointment. This arrangement is likely to be in place for the remainder of this calendar year, with Phil usually working two days per week.
Whilst he now works as a consultant across the charity sector, Phil has many years’ experience as a Students’ Union Chief Executive including 16 years at the University of Salford Students’ Union, and recently as Interim CEO at Liverpool Hope SU. Phil has also been the consultant Finance Director at LiverpoolSU for the last three years. He is a highly capable CEO, with great credibility in the Student Movement and Charity sectors.
