ARUK & LJMU Study into Young People, Alcohol & Social Media

Thursday 10-04-2014 - 08:14

Overview of the research project

Social media sites provide space for alcohol brands to have a page of their own which users can interact with and they can also buy advertising space to promote their brands. This research will investigate the ways in which young people interact with the marketing of alcohol brands and peer driven activity on new social media and how new social media may influence their own intoxicogenic identity both on and offline.
