AGM 11th May 2022 - you're invited
On Wednesday 11th May, we are hosting our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and you're invited.
This is your chance to find out what we've been up to over the last year, and what we can focus on for next year. As your Students’ Union, we strive to make sure that students are at the heart of everything we do. We represent you, so your influence on how the organisation works is very important.
As well as hearing from your Student Officers, it’s also your opportunity to come along and voice your thoughts and opinions on important topics that will shape your university life.
This year, we really want your views on:
- The external organisations we affiliate with (e.g. BUCS and NUS).
- How we might improve our democratic structure.
- Where we should prioritise what we spend our time and money on next year.
- Help shape SU policy.
Student groups and committee members
If you attend the AGM’s, you will be in for a chance to win £100 for your group’s social account! The winner will be defined by how many members of your group are in attendance of the AGMs. It is imperative for group committee members to be present as you will make decisions on the approval of future sports affiliations – in particular, BUCS.
