1. You’re having a say on what gets changed at LJMU.
Student Officers have worked with the university to make real changes on campus. These range from bringing microwaves and hot taps in to the social spaces on campus, to securing printing credits for postgraduate students, to bringing in LJMU's first ever mascot.
Which manifesto points do you want to see in action? Have a look at the proposed changes & which would benefit you the most. These will get worked on from July 2018 when the new officer team starts.
2. You could win £500.
Everyone who votes is entered in to a prize draw for a £500 cash prize, drawn on Friday 9th March. That wouldn’t go amiss... You've got to be in it to win it!
3. It takes about 2 minutes and you can do it on any device.
Use your phone, tablet, computer. Just find your voting link in your LJMU inbox and vote – simple as that. Plus if you’ve done it, it means we will stop bugging you to…
If you have an issue with voting, pop us an email to elections@ljmu.ac.uk
4. Your vote will actually make a difference.
Candidates have won these elections in the past by less than 10 votes. Your vote does matter.
5. These students are the face of LJMU – make sure they represent you.
Our Student Officers are the first point of contact, not only for the university but for national press. Make sure the students leading the SU are the right ones, because they reflect on you.
Happy voting! The results will be announced on Friday 9th March at Results night - everyone is welcome to come along and celebrate with us.
