Music Tutor/Group Lead

Details Hide[-]

At Spider Project, we provide creative recovery activities to our members in order to help them build skills to move forward in their recovery from addiction and mental health struggles.

We currently have availability for new music teachers on a voluntary basis for either our main hub or for our crisis service. We are always open to new ideas and if you feel you have the right skills and dedication, we would love for you to join our team.

Volunteers are one of the main driving forces of our project and we recognise this with many rewards, recognition and supporting including free gig tickets for Future Yard (on request) and trips out over the year.

If you are interested, we will invite you in for an informal chat about us, you and how you can help; from there, you will be trained in various topics covering addiction, mental health and safeguarding to ensure you understand the service fully.

This is a great oppurtunity for anyone who is interested in supporting vulnerable adults in learning new skills and to curate their own skills alongside their university subject and looking for experience teaching an insturment and working closely with staff and members to curate ideas and projects for the group.
