Help us Leave Liverpool Tidy! Promote mindful consumption and good waste management across student halls and Liverpool communities.

The Guild and JMSU's Leave Liverpool Tidy project is back, and we need you!

In collaboration with the British Heart Foundation, volunteers will be helping to reduce, reuse and recycle our way to a tidier Liverpool. We’ll be running a mixture of activities such as:

• Litter picks
• Flyering in the community
• Engagement stalls
• Swap Shops
• Food, clothing and homeware collections

In 2023 3,370 bags of donations were collected across Liverpool during the campaign. This meant that we diverted 27 tonnes of reusable items from landfill, equivalent to 4 African elephants! The money raised through these donations has helped support lifesaving research, driving breakthroughs for heart patients all across the UK. We would love to meet and even exceed that target this year, but we can’t do it without your help. Get stuck in and help to Leave Liverpool Tidy!
