Leila was awarded her PhD in 2020 and is a mental health nurse at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

Leila’s thesis examined the concurrent mental and physical healthcare received by patients diagnosed with a personality disorder on acute general hospital wards.

Leila will be talking about her PhD and why it is important for nurses to engage with research.
