What Does the Role Involve?
As a JMSU delegate at NUS UK Conference, you’ll be responsible for representing the views of LJMU students to the wider student movement and the leadership of the National Union of Students. You’ll need to work with our other delegates to gather feedback from students across the University and identify potential conference motions. Once the conference agendas have been published, you’ll need to conduct research into student opinion and existing JMSU policy, to inform how you vote at the conference.
While there is no strict criteria and all LJMU students are eligible to nominate themselves to be a NUS Delegate below are some important qualities for NUS Delegate:
