With the new restrictions in place across the Liverpool City Region and the risk to yours and your community’s health, it is more important now than ever to follow the government guidelines and self-isolate where necessary.
The last thing we want is for you to be stuck in your home with absolutely nothing to do, so we’ve put together a short guide on fun, safe activities for you to do while you isolate!
Join a group or society:
While all face-to-face activities are currently on hold, many of our groups and societies have moved online!
From quiz nights to welcome events to wellbeing talks, our societies and groups put together some amazing events to allow you to meet new people, get up and moving and have a blast!
Online Events Programme:
We still have just over a week left of our Online Events Programme, and what a week it is!
As well as our incredible society and group events, we have Zoom Speed Mate-ing, Virtual Dance Classes, Give it a Go: British Sign Language and so much more. All events are free to join, and there’s no experience necessary! Just head to our events page and you’ll have everything you need to sign up.
To celebrate Black History Month, NUS is partnering up with SU’s all across the country for a series of free events that anyone can sign up to as part of their #NUSDecoloniseEducation campaign. All panels feature speakers from universities, SU’s, NUS and business owners all coming together to have important discussions on what it means to be Black in education in the 21st century. All events can be accessed digitally and can be found here on our events page!
Taking place virtually from 15-25 October, the LIF 2020 has moved this year’s festivities online. Their digital programme features 10 days of free virtual events, including a live-streamed performance by Mellowtone, a live DJ set from DJ Paddy Callaghan, a Celtic Animation Film Festival and so much more.
