About Our Group

We are LJMU’s official student radio. As a member you will be entitled to your own radio show that you can use to play your favourite songs, discuss  your own personal interests and debate current issues that matter to you.

Key Information

All society information will be posted on our main facebook page and on the members facebook page (LJMUStudentRadio2019/20).

The radio studio is situated in the basement of the John Foster building on Mount Pleasant.

Why You Should Join Us?

• LJMU Student Radio is Liverpool John Moores University’s one and only student radio station. We’re a station that brings you original personalities and fabulous music, and if you’re lucky enough to broadcast on our station, you’ll enjoy our socials too.
• Joining the station is a fantastic way to meet new people and make new friends outside of your course.
• Being a part of the radio will also provide you with the opportunity to interview bands and attend concerts around Liverpool.
• We host live events twice a year and run special shows for Christmas and Halloween.
• Being involved with your university radio looks great on your CV and to future employers!
