Student groups have access to LJMU rooms for group meetings and socials. Rooms are generally more available from 5pm-8:45pm when the buildings close for room bookings (7pm close on Fridays).
Daytime bookings can be made as one off requests every so often, but regular daytime bookings will not be accepted as this is reserved for teaching times only, with the exception of Wednesday afternoons from 1pm.
When booking a room, please adhere to the following:
You can request a room booking using the form below. We require the following notice for room bookings:
General room bookings (e.g. meetings) – 1 weeks’ notice
Room bookings with guest speakers or for specific activities – 3 weeks’ notice
Specialist room booking (i.e. Photography studio, kitchen space, rooms with specialist equipment) – 3 weeks’ notice. Please provide us with as much information as possible about what you need this booking for.
Large scale ticketed events – At least 6 weeks’ notice. Please contact your coordinator for specific guidance on this or read the running an event guidance and fill in the events form and we'll be in touch!

In the first instance, any students involved in an emergency issue which the University needs to be made aware of, should be directed to contact Security on 0151-231-2222. If you need to contact JMSU directly, you can contact our emergency number on 07393 877 712.
– This form must be filled out for any group who wishes to host a speaker that is not an LJMU student or staff member. Fill this out at least 3 weeks before the proposed event.
– For all other requests, please fill in this form. If you have already completed a guest speaker form, you do not need to do this as well (just be sure to include all the details of the room booking).
