Our Constitution

Our Constitution outlines why we operate, how we are run, and most importantly, how we must enable students to participate and have an input into our priorities.

As well as being a member of the National Union of Students (NUS), JMSU is also a registered Charity. So our Constitution and other details about how we are run are held by the Charity Commission. You can see these details by going to www.charity-commission.gov.uk/ and entering our charity number into the search box – 1142741.

We're proud of our Constitution. We think it's simple to use and easy to understand. It has been approved by the Liverpool John Moores Students' Union Board of Trustees and is regulated by Liverpool John Moores University Board of Governors.
