Mollie's Mission - Choral and Music Society
Mollie's Mission last week get festive with Choral and Music Society.
This year Choral and Music Society have a brand new committee which brought with it lots of exciting ideas. They organised and executed an amazing Christmas concert at the Bistro Everyman Theatre. The audience was full of friends and family and they even had to extend the room to fit everyone in.
The night consisted of a mix of pop songs, Christmas classics and instrumentals all performed by our very talented students.
Choral and Music society performs songs all together - at the concert they performed 'Man in the Mirror', 'Let It Snow', 'Merry Christmas', Circles and a fabulous cover of 'You Will Be Found' from the musical Dear Evan Hansen. This society accepts anyone who wants to perform.
However, they do also have a smaller group within the Society called 'Chamber'. This is group that students audition for and unfortunately has limited places. Rhi does an amazing job of leading the Chamber group.
Alice takes charge of the instrumental group and they have a range of instruments this year including the flute and guitar.
Even students that had been unwell or in hospital did amazingly well and smashed their solos
The overall experience of this night was amazing and all the students did their parents so proud at organising and executing such a fun, festive event.
