As a new student to LJMU, you are guaranteed city centre accommodation in one of LJMU's partner halls of residence.

LJMU also employs a team of Accommodation Mentors. They're students, like you, who either live in halls of residence, or have experience of living in halls. The team are there solely to support you, make sure you'll settling in, and give you the best advice on how to make the most of your time at LJMU.

Liverpool Student Homes (LSH)
If it’s private accommodation you’re looking for as a second year students or beyond, LSH is there every step of the way. In Liverpool there’s a surplus of private student accommodation which means there’s plenty for you to choose from and you can take your time looking. It’s a myth that all the best accommodation gets snapped up early and you can certainly hold off your property search until later in the academic year, if that’s what you would prefer to do.
As your only official University service for private accommodation, LSH advertise the largest selection of private student accommodation in Liverpool, including shared houses of all sizes, flats, private halls, studios and individual rooms in properties.

Housing Rights Advice
LSH offer free confidential housing rights advice, and your property doesn’t need to be LSH registered to access this service. They can advise on issues including disrepair, deposits, harassment, tenancy agreements and more.
